Stuck at testing and interview

Hi all,



I am Adjusting from F1 to AOS and my AOS package (i485, i130, i765) was received by uscis on July 29. On Nov 4th 2013, my status for I-485 was changed to "Testing and Interview". It says that When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview.


I am wondering how long it takes to schedule the interview date. My local USCIS office will be the one in Jacksonville, FL hopefully. Since it's the same place I did my biometrics.



Any insights will be greatly appreciated.

How long you stay in T&I depends on the case load of your local office. Our case just recently switched to T&I and in the notification it says:

The amount of time your application will remain in this step will vary by office and is largely determined by the number of cases ahead of yours.

AOS: Applied 9/16/13 - Approved 1/18/14 (122 days)

6/28/2013 - DOMA struck down!
7/21/2013 - Married
9/16/2013 - AOS package mailed (I-130/I-485/I-765)
9/24/2013 -(day 06)Texts/Emails received
9/24/2013 -(day 06)Check cashed
9/27/2013 -(day 09)Hardcopy NOAs received in mail (x3)
9/30/2013 -(day 12)Biometrics Appointment Notice I-797c
10/04/2013 -Successful biometrics walk-in
11/19/2013 -(day 62)Online status changed to Testing & Interview
11/21/2013 -(day 64)EAD approval/card production ordered (2 emails)
11/29/2013 -(day 72)EAD arrived

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

4/12/13 - sent I-485 package

4/15/13 - USCIS Chicago Lockbox received package

4/22/13 - got email and txt

4/29/13 - received NOA in mail

5/08/13 - received biometrics appointment for 5/22

5/09/13 - successful early walk in at Port Chester, NY office

5/22/13 - I-485 updated to Testing & Interview

6/18/13 - EAD went to production

6/21/13 - Card/Document Production for EAD - second email

6/24/13 - EAD mailed

6/26/13 - EAD arrived

7/18/13 - got email about interview

7/20/13 - got hard copy interview letter

08/23/13 - interview - Approved dancin5hr.gif(card production & decision email)

08/28/13 - card production - second email

08/29/13 - card mailed

09/03/13 - card arrived

Any idea where could I study/find the timelines of my local office ? My local office is at Jacksonville, FL.

Cool Thanks a lot :)

Understanding this, I see that people filed in Aug or even in Sept are in decision stage. I filed on July 25th 2013 and my status changed to T&I,the first week of Nov. Looking at the statistics, I don't think the local office is too busy and don't understand why I am still stuck at T&I ?
