Hello everyone! Once again I have another question to ask and hopefully some one will be kind enough to answer in witch I do will appreciated. The question that I have is why my visa status updated date has been changed, first it was from case creation date October the 22nd to status updated date to October 28th, then it said from October 22nd to status updated October 31st and now it says October the 22nd to November the 1st! I'm not trying to be silly or stupid but would I like to find out what's going on, what it means and why my updated dated keep on changing? I have a feeling that they probably are working fast on my case and maybe every time they go into my case by changing the status it might be a way to letting me know that some work has been done and some process but if any one already had been through this situation and would like to share their experience will truly appreciated.

that updated date is changed when

--a human touches the casefile or

--the casefile is moved from one section to another

For clarity, call into DoS Hotline, ask for casefile status.

I'm betting the casefile has been opened, at a minimum.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Our K1 Visa Interview is scheduled for Montreal on Feb. 13th. (Booked on Jan. 14th)

I checked CEAC today  and the date has changed from Jan. 14th to Jan. 31.  Does anyone know why it would change?

Thanks
