My husband's gift to me this Christmas is a roundtip ticket to the Philippines. I have a few quetions and i hope you can help me:

1. I am on Conditional GC, do I need a re-entry permit?

2. When Im in the Philippines, what are the requirements that I need to do to have CFO on my passport?

I just dont have the time to go to the Philippine Embassy, which is located at another state to do a report of marriage and get my Marriage Certificate Authenticated. I read that this is a requirement in getting a CFO sticker on my passport so that I can come back here in the US.

Please tell me what step I should do? Thank You. :)

If you have a 2 year GC, you are good to come and go as you please. SOME airline agents are not familiar with all the rules. You might get asked for CFO, but it's not needed (mmight want to carry it just in case, but I'd refuse to show it unless forced by a manager).

Since you have ticketed travel to USA already, you should have less trouble. But if passing thru Korea, the agent will try to insist you have a ticket to USA. We did not, and I had to be REAL firm with 3 aagents that we would book travel from Korea to USA once in Korea.

You are no longer an exiting immigrant so you do not need a CFO sticker, you have your green card (conditional or not... it shows you are a legal resident of the USA)

Airlines don't care about CFO that is strictly an Philippines government thing. Airline just want to see passports and tickets ;)

Tell that to the agent who asked Roxane if she had one. She was about to pull it out when I informed the agent it was not needed, see the GC. The

I would have asked the agent to show me where it's required by the airlines.
