question about medical appointment registration

I'm doing the registration and it says estimated departure date. I chose November 2013 but it says Estimated Date of Departure must be 6 months from Medical Examination Date. I've never heard that my fiance can't come here until 6 months after her medical exam. Is this true?

But did your registration go through or accepted the date that you chose? I don't think it is true because you can set an appointment online for interview 2-3 weeks from medical as long as your physical file is already in USEM.

The registration wouldn't go through when I put the date as November 2013 but I changed it to December 2013 and then it went through so I think i'm good now. I think their system was confused because I chose November which is this month. So it confused me too.

Date really doesn't matter, PFA something a couple months down the road.

The medical exam is first come first serve so you can go there Monday through Friday and they are open 6 AM TO 4 PM. The date that I chose was referring to when my fiance plans to depart for the U.S.

Oh ok, I thought you were also registering to schedule your fiance's K1-Visa Interview. Nevermind..
