Hi all!

I have a question that hopefully someone has some insight to.

My parents have been married for almost 3 years now (step-mom is USC and dad is permanent resident) and they recently had to go in for a i-751 interview in early September. It wasn't a stokes interview, but they didn't get a response either from the officer that day. We've not really been worrying about it since it's a legitimate marriage, but my sister (14) and I (20) got a letter for another i-751 interview in two weeks. I go to college in TX, my sister is still going to school in OK (where my biological mom lives) and my stepmom lives in CA. My dad travels between OK and CA for business purposes so he's just in the middle of the two. The interview happened to land on a week I had off from school (so yay to not missing anything!) but now we're just confused as to why they called my sister and I. Anyone have any experience with this? Obviously my sister and I don't know intimate details about our parents (then again, what children do?) so we have no idea what to expect.

Day 6 (1/9/18) Walk-in biometrics in Fort Worth, TX

Day 341 (12/10/18) Interview was scheduled for 1/14/19

Day 376 (1/14/19) Interview

Day 385 (1/23/19) Denied

Day 400 (2/7/19) Denial revoked; N-400 approved; oath ceremony set for 2/14/19

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

This happened to a friend of mine. They had different times but she insisted that they all have the interview together. So she, her husband and her two kids went in for the interview

They barely asked the kids anything. I think they were looking to see how comfortable the kids are with the couple. BTW their kids were 12 and 18 at the time.
