Dear VJ members,

I am in the process of piecing together the AOS application for my now wife, as we got married 10 days ago, following her arrival on a K-1 visa.

I would appreciate your feedback on the following matter:

We're struggling to decide whether the I-693 form is needed and, more specifically, whether a visit to a Civil Surgeon is required. Her DS-3025,

Vaccination Documentation Worksheet, indicates in Section 2 that she has "Vaccine History Incomplete: Applicant may be eligible for blanket waiver(s) because

vaccination(s) not medically appropriate (as indicated above). I've scanned through multiple posts here on similar matters but am unable to draw a conclusion.

Specifically, the DS-3025 indicates the following:

1) DTP is missing the last block, with the last of 3 shots given in 1982.

2) Td and Tdap were given 3 times, with the most recent, on 8/28/2013, the day of her exam.

3) IPV is completed, with the most recent again on 8/28/2013.

4) Rubella and Measles have one shot each, in 1983 and 1990.

5) Hepatitis B is listed as complete.

6) Varicella history is listed as "VH".

7) Rotavirus, Hib, Hepatitis, Meningococcal and Pneumococcal are listed as "Not Age Appropriate".

8) Influenza is listed under "not fall (flu) season.

I understand that going to a Civil Surgeon might be costly and might involve a delay. If I'm correct it might also be a slow process to get an appointment with one,

though I will look into it on Monday. What do you folks recommend ? Should we simply include the DS-3025 and risk it to see if a RFE shows up, or show we push

to get the I-693 first with whatever cost this involves ? Am I correct to think that the only thing really missing is the Flu shot ? It seems odd that we'd have to go for

a CS for this !

Moreover, we're applying for Advanced Parole, as we'd both like to go back to Greece for the holidays (family health issue is involved).

If there is an RFE w/r to the medical stuff would this hurt our AP request ?

Any feedback you may have is greatly welcome !

Thank you so much for the feedback and the quick response ! I just relayed your comment to my wife who insisted that the doctor at her medical exam told her that she was totally fine. So it seems we're fine. I really appreciate this as you've saved us from tons of stress.

Have a wonderful night !
