No Expedites are only available at USCIS and usually for emergencies, or Military Deployment... not once you are at NVC or if the case is at the Embassy... as far as I know.

You can expedite at the NVC but you also need to have a valid reason to do so, just being outside the 30 business days isn't a valid reason. (Remember it's business days, do not count weekends or any US holidays.) If your spouse was in danger or in need of urgent medical care they couldn't get in their home country or the USC is deploying, then you could try for an expedite.

Hey cesar my affidavit and ds230 got accoeted but i got a checklist on september rwlling ne to submit the new form ds260,i did it the 13 of september and until today i still have not gotten a case complete,today is the 30business day idk what to do

I'm so sorry Nataly that you have to wait and go through having a child on your own. I miscarried our first child and tried to get our case expedited through NVC via my congressman but they wouldn't help me because they said they can't intervene until it gets to the embassy. But I agree that you definitely should have gotten a case complete by now. My case was received on August 26th and we filled out the online DS 260 on I think around the 9th of September and got a case complete on the 19th.

DS260, isnt that electronic filing for Immigrant visa? Are you sure this is what they asked of you?

Can someone add to this if they have knowledge that Colombia is now doing E-file? I did this for my mother in law just a month back and I only sent the affidavit (new version) and the DS230 and had no problem (just RFE for affidavit, wrong income, easy fix).

The only experience I have with having something supervisor reviewed was with my choice of agent, and that was done from one day to the next.

Every country now does online forms which is the DS-261 and DS-260.

You still have to send your documents to the NVC as electronic processing is not available for most of the world (8 countries can do it.)

Online forms and electronic processing is two different things. Hope that clears it up.
