My fiance (K1) and her son (K2) (He is almost two years old) are going to have the medical done on the 17th and interview on the 25th.

She is nervous of course and wants help with the little one while doing the medical and the interview. She wants her sister to come with her to both, is this possible? Or will the not allow her entry into the buildings with my fiance?

Thanks

I was at the embassy for the interview of a friend, and I was there for the same reason.

From experience, I was not allowed to get in--except a few years later, when my friend became a US Citizen,

I accompanied her for something else, she told security I was with her and flashed her blue passport. They let me in without questions.

I think it depends on your "communication" skills, I guess. Anyway, there will always be a waiting area right outside, in case.

The security there can be considerate, if they see that there is no security risk in doing so. Why don't you give it a try?

About the Medical: It's alright. She can have someone with her. No food will be allowed though, baby milk should be no problem! As for snack or anything the baby can munch on--a no-no, so they'd better be ready how to manage the baby. ;-)

But they can bring gadgets or toys to keep baby busy.

Good luck!
