Does it mean 16.6 to be out of processing time for i130? so if after 9 months I dont get a response I wait for 16.6 months for i130 and another maybe 8 months for the rest?

Makes me wanna cry . what is everyone else thinking?

Does this apply for all who files when teh avg processing time it was still 9 months?

Loosing hope.. im on 5 months now

I waited 178 days, and I feel your pain.

Where did 16.6 come from?

good luck

Ohh sorry , I just read my own post again and I realized how cryptic it might be if you dont have the context.

On the uscis website the processing time shows 16 something months now as average processing time

So do I have to wait that long to call them if I dont get a response on the i130?

I really hope not :(

any thoughts?

Don't get to caught up into the processing times. Remember NBC just open it doors to I-130 petitions August 15, 2012 So just 14 1/2 months. So 16.6 is just their estimate.

Now that the other processing center in Overland Park, Kansas is open you should see movement. I promise you you will see earlier filers first to make their averages go down and help them look good but it will come.

Just focus on next stage at NVC and have everything ready.
