Yes, my gal was an OFW in Taipei, Shanghai, and in Hong Kong and had to submit a police clearance for each country because she worked a 2-year contract in each country. It was not difficult to get the police clearances, the problem is you will have to wait until you have the interview letter to show to the country to get the police clearance letter(s). Best of luck!

Did she get a checklist (at NVC) for the PC? Or was she given a 221g (after the interview) for it? Just curious. Thanks.

I lived in a foreign country to attend a university and I received a check list for not submitting the PCC with my IV package. You should call NVC and verify.

ahh ok... thank uu:) did nvc send you a request letter for that police clearance? or u just presented the checklist that you've received? bec some country wont issue without letter/ request from nvc:( ..... thank uu:)

You're welcome :)

I had applied for the PCC prior to getting the checklist. I was hoping they would allow me to bring it to the interview. But they gave me a checklist and I had to submit it to NVC.

No to both questions. The visa "instructions" you are applying for should specifically tell you that the applicant/beneficiary is going to need a PCC to be submitted by each country the person has lived in for more than 6 months... So, my gal gathered her PCC's after she got the embassy interview letter. For some reason some, not all, foreign countries/consulates needed the interview letter to allow her to pay for the PCC and have it mailed directly top the USE conducting her interview.

She did not get a "checklist" from the NVC. She also was not "denied," or given the 221g form.

In other words, you should have your PCCs submitted to the USE doing the interview prior to your interview or this can, and probably will, delay decision/issuance of your visa.

Best of luck!
