Biometrics notice received, walk-in possible?

I have to go do it in Charleston, West Virginia. It's about 2-2.5 hours away. I am just trying to see if people usually get an ok with that or they usually deny it.

Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated.

J-1 student for 2007-2008, F-1 student since 2008 for high school, then full-time undergraduate degree from 2009-present, renewed F1 early on in 2013.

06/26/13 No more DOMA

09/14/13 Mailed out the packet with (I-130, I-485, I-131, I-864, I-693, I-765)

09/16/13 (day 2) Arrived at Chicago Lockbox

09/23/13 (day 9) Received Hardcopy of receipt for I-485, I-765, and I-131

10/3/13 (day 19) Biometrics given to USCIS

11/27/13 (day 63) Interview Appointment

It's often okay but my husband got denied. It doesn't speed up your case so you could just wait if you have to travel a while.

Yeah, I got my biometrics appointment set for next Monday....the good news is that the location of it is only under an hour away from where we live....thinking about walking in early too, but I don't think it's worth it since it won't get processed any faster...6 more days to wait, i guess..

Thank you for the suggestion, I will just wait. Less than 2 weeks :)
