Hello everyone,

This is mainly what my cover letter will look like, besides a few sentences explaining what i'm Petitioning. I would love to know what everyone thinks/feels? Do you think the order is fine, the evidence is ok? We won't live together until she is in the US, so we don't have any financial evidence. However, we have plenty of other pieces of evidence showing communication, shared experiences of 2+ years. Thanks for any and all comments:)

1) Completed Form G-1145

2) Completed Form I-130

3) Check enclosed for the amount of $420.00

4) Copy of birth certificate of the petitioner

5) Copy of birth certificate of the Alien Relative (translation included)

6) Copy of marriage certificate

7) One passport style photo of petitioner

8) One passport style photo of Alien Relative

9) Completed Form G-325a of petitioner

10) Completed Form G-325a of Alien Relative

11) Several supporting documents showing ongoing relationship:

a. Summary of relationship

b. Facebook posts and Skype call logs

c. Photo evidence of ongoing relationship (13 photos)

d. Passport Stamps/Visas

e. Scanned receipts/tickets of travel to and from Germany, USA, other trips etc..

f. Three sworn affidavits having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship

g. Other remaining pieces of evidence

Looks good :)

Are you including your wedding photos as well?

We included TWO passport photos each. Although they only ask for one, sometimes people get RFEs for this.

I was also told by one immigration attorney it's better to include two because they often get ruined when they scan them.

Good luck :)

When two people are meant for each other, no time is too long, no distance is too far, no one can ever tear them apart.

Thanks for replies!

I have three wedding photos. And I didn't know that about sending 2 copies of photos, but I can and I probably will, thanks for advice Blueberry Pancake!

6 affidavits, wow, I had the 3 closest friends of ours write their story of us. One of them even introduced us! I could stretch it and get 1 or 2 more. However, several people on VJ that I read who listed their packets had a couple to no affidavits. I do agree with you the more the merrier! Thanks for your advice jdba!

3 affidavits is more than enough.. They carry little to zero weight anyways.

We didn't include any.

OP, your list looks good. You don't need any affidavits.

They carry little to zero weight anyways.
