I-751 October 2013 Filers

Vermont Center received my I-751 On 10/02/2013.I got I-797c notices in november 2013, my petition was transferred to California service center, 2floor bla blaa .

I did my finger prints in jan 2014.


As of today, 8/8/2014, online status is still under "Initial Review".


Is this normal speed? is normal?

We are in the same shoes JOSEBR, i filed, finger-printed and moved from VSC to CSC in October 13, i have not received any notices yet, still in "initial review"

The situation is sad!!

Congrats Vickyp... I am still here waiting, a year now and counting !

All i got from my online request was that my background check is pending !

Try to contact your congressman. If the response came back because of the background check, let your representative office ask them to follow up and expedite the background check with the FBI. also, try to contact the ombudsman as well. You need to make preassure on them to complete your case. If the case was delayed due background checks only uscis can follow up with FBI

how do i find the ombudsman for my area, all i got from google was for child support.

I have filled the ombudsman and submitted, how long does it take for them to get back to you?
