Hi there, I'd like to know how long it takes for payments to go through on the NVC payment portal, both fees were paid by my American father in law on Sunday which was 6 days ago yet still no activity on the website notifying that the payment has been accepted or whatnot. any suggestions?

Call NVC, I called 3 business after not seeing movement on my AOS Fee, it went through the following day after the call. Remember to give them an e-mail makes it much easier for them to send you any changes also. Good luck!

It only takes 3-5 days to process the fee sometimes 2 days minimum in my case. Call the NVC. Best of luck!

thank you, i was on hold for 45 minutes today before giving up, will try again on monday. does anyone know if the NVC accepts cheques that are mailed in for this matter?

They do but it takes a lot longer for them to process a check than the online payment. When you call back on Monday, try early or late, stay away from the middle of the day. (ps keep an eye on the bank account the funds were paid with... sometimes there is a glitch in the system that doesn't change to paid even after the funds are withdrawn.)

Remember holding for 45mins-1hr is better than waiting another 4-5 days. Be patient, put the phone on speakerphone and multitask, those 45 mins will help you sleeps better too,
