September 23 K-1 Mumbai Consulate Approvals

Hey,

My fiance had her case approved but now the status for the visa shows as in admin. processing. I think this is normal but wanted to know from others who got their approvals on sep 23 2013 in Mumbai for K-1 whether they see the same?

I found out from postings that this is normal and that it takes up to 2 weeks from interview to have this change or have your passport mailed. If they are missing documents during final review they will they delay and send you e-mail or postal mail for RFE. If possible can I request that people post to this thread when they recieve their visas or have their status changed.

We are in the same boat with you I have been looking today and I have seen others post that their case also went into administrative processing after being told they were approved. One person suggested calling the DOS hotline # (202) 485-7600. Guess time will tell!

As of today our status went from administrative processing to "Issued"!!! Any change in yours?

Hi,

Yes it was changed to issued for us as well!!! Thank God!! Now all that remains is getting her here, getting married, honeymoon and then on to Adjustment of Status!!
