Still no packet 3 & 4 as of yet. Nothing from the jamaican embassy :(

Ok we have been waiting for packets 3 &4 from the embassy but nothing as of yet. We sent them the DS-230 via email on 9/5 and they replied stating "Received and being processed" . We completed form DS-260 online on 9/19. I called them yesterday and they told me the embassy is back logged as of now and that could be the reason why my we have not received an interview date as of yet. Is this happening to anyone else? I'm just curious.

I am waiting for an interview date as well. Our case was completed at NVC on September 19th. They say they are fully booked for October so I am praying that we get something for November. I call NVC every day to see if anything has been scheduled yet. I am sure I am getting on their nerves!

My fiancé is also waiting on packet 3 & 4 an email was sent to kingstonIVappointments on 9/17 and a reply received 9/23 to direct your inquiry to kingstonIV instead. Yesterday I called DOS and was told my fiancé will soon get an appointment.

I think the new process is slowing things down because they are still learning how to process these forms properly

oh wow. It seems like they are trying to streamline their processes but until things are figured out applicants are held in limbo. When we applied, the embassy added the DHL process.... Sorry you guys are waiting so long just to get booked.

I understand your frustration. Our packet was received at the embassy on June 29th and i took us untill Sept 24th to get an interview. It was partly our fault because we kept waiting to get the packet 3 in the mail or some kind of notification. Dont sit and wait. Ask the embassy to email you the packets. They may ask you to go pick them up like they did us. But alteast you are moving in the right direction. Good Luck!!!

Yea when we email them DS-230 we did email them stating we would like to receive packet 3 &4 by email . Still waiting though.

Ok so check this out..

Fiance received this from the Embassy this evening in response to his email of completing the ds-260. So he is completing the ds-230 and will email back to them tonight/tomorrow.

But the sent him the medical form and the visa checklist with link to download 156, 156k, and 157. Is this packet 3.. looks like it could be..
