Hello VJ friends,

After a lengthy process, I've finally held green card and filed for naturalization. This is marriage based.

The n400 package was sent with certified mail, delivered, and check cashed today 9/18/13. I felt one step closer to the finish line.

My question is about name change request since I heard this may delay the case. Is it true?

I'm changing to married name and adding middle name, first name kept.

What documents pertaining to name change will I get, if everything goes well, after the sworn in ceremony in New York City? Will they give me a court order or name change petition?

I read some postings saying it's difficult to get new driver license or update any other papers with only a citizenship certificate as name proof.

Can someone share some information?
