I am petitioning my daughter under 21 years old, thru F2A visa.Her case is already in NVC, and i paid her AOS, already. My question is, when i check the payment for the IV application processing fee, its the name of her daughter was listed and not my daughter's name.it shows also under number of iv fees is 2.I am very confused right now and don't know if i petition my daughter, is it really will happen that it is not only my daughter i am petitioning, but also her child? I only apply for my daughter alone in I-130 and pay the fee only for her. In AOS payment that the nvc sent to me is on my daughters name.But now when I am checking the CEAC site, i notice this, when i am checking if i can pay for her IV application processing fee, its the name of her child was listed on there. Pls tell me what do i need to do. You think it may have conflicts with her case.What makes me confused is, if i petition my daughter, can she also bring her child with her? Her child will turn 3 years old this coming November. What i am thinking is, i need to petition her child also and pay the fee separate from my daughter, am i right?.Please any info is well appreciated, and thank you in advance.

Your daughter's child will be considered as derivative that's why you are seeing her name on the ceac website. Yes, you only pay one i-130 but you will need to pay 2 visa fee if you choose to continue the process for your grandchild.

N-400 Timeline:

Interview notice - 11/22/19

Your daughter's name will appear on the IV fee invoice once NVC accepts her Choice of Address and Agent form.

Separate IV fees should be paid. $230 for your daughter and $230 for your grandchild.

The baby must have a passport so if you have not gotten her one, now is the time.
