yeah i saw also....... but it's too late still for us. we need oct 1-5.......... are they all taken does that what it means?

Sweety, I guess, all you can do for now is wait if somebody cancels their Oct 1 - 5 appointment. But I think, it's too risky. Care to share why Oct 16 doesn't work for you?

BEC MY REVIEW is entire month of oct starting oct 10.

does it what it means all the daets are taken until oct 16? and all of sept also???

how often are there cancelations?

Since I tried opening the calendars for the past 2 weeks, it's very rare. Normally, and for some weird reason, somebody would cancel their interview which will be like 5 days away. As you might have known, for the past 5 days, the opened interviews are in early September, which is almost impossible for anyone who plans to cram for their medical, forms and other requirements. But are you really willing to risk it that far?

My advice is to do the medical now, as well as get the forms, then when you have completed all those, keep checking for interview appointments until you find one you like, whether now or much later. The medical and docs are good for 6 months.

PG, have you read the SLEC thread pinned at the top of the forum? If you are trying to get a 5 OCT interview, you should already know what you need.

I thought you needed more time because of waiting for a foreign country police certificate... now you don't need to wait anymore?

WHAT IS REQUIRED

@PineappleGirl, you need to sit down and write / print, what you need so you can have a grasp on you need to accomplish before your desired date of interview. If you haven't had the chance yet to read Hank's very helpful site, here it is again: http://visaconnection-philippines.com/#

Just read and if you have read it, re-read. Everything is there: the basic requirements and everything you need to know about getting through a K-1.

Shortcut to the requirements: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/19452/public/Revised%20K1%20Instruction_rtf2_rtf2_001.pdf

After you have the requirements written / printed, write the dates on when you will be able to accomplish each item.

Now, ask yourself again, when are you really ready to have your interview? good.gif
