Hey,

me and my fiancé are about to send the K1 application forms to the USICS, we are just waiting for some documents of my previous marriages, which had to be translated. Since we just started our journey, it would be great, if we could get some help and advices.. :help: ..i would be very happy, if someone from the same area would contact us, so we would probably know what the timeframe is......

i already love this forum, it is VERY VERY helpful and informativ.....

I wish you all good luck!!!

During the first phase of the process you will suffer the same as probably 75% or more of all the filers on this site because we are required to have the petitions filed via CSC. Currently CSC is 75-90 days or so for petition processing. After that then the differences begin to appear as you move to the consulate phase.

YMMV

You should start by reading the guides and then take a look at the timelines.

You'll find that people here are very friendly and helpfull.

Good luck in your journey.

Diana,

K1 application forms must be sent to an appropriate US consular section overseas, not to the USCIS. And they can't be sent until the USCIS has approved an I-129f petition, so send one of those to the USCIS instead.
