Hello! My fiance is trying to obtain her k-1 visa from Germany. We have hired and payed for an attorney to help with this process. We received our approval letter back in JULY. Our lawyer is JUST NOW having her sign the documents in packet 3 however there are plenty of errors on these forms after my fiancé has sent her the requested info more than once! Our lawyer must have had packet 3 for a while now after I tracked our case to the Embassy a couple weeks after our noa 2. After looking around this sight it seems we should already be preparing for the interview and have a date already. Now i wish I hadnt payed the lawyer for this part of the process, but at the time i didnt know that this part isnt as complicated as the initial filing. Is it possible for us to dismiss the lawyer and continue from here after the lawyer is on file as our representative and has been sending and receiving documents from uscis and the embassy? I just really feel she is complicating and greatly slowing these final steps. Am i now stuck with her?

Its your fiance who will get packet 3 via email not the lawyer since your case is at the embassy (if your fiance's email was given on the forms) its time for your fiance to deal with embassy not lawyer. so you can say good bye to your lawyer. here are some example forms you guys can fill out these forms by your own http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples

Where can you see lawyers name on the NOA2? Did she already had a letter from NVC advising packet was forwarded to the embassy?

Check with DOS by using your USCIS ref. (or embassy ref. if you have it) on what stage is your application and what address do they have for beneficiary? Check what are the embassy packet 3 instructions for your embassy and find out how to go about having medical done?

It is not where I breathe but where I love that I live.
