I have searched and have seen conflicting answers concerning a Police Clearance from Singapore for non-Singapore citizen. Is it required for a Thai citizen how has lived in Singapore for 4 years and now has moved back to Thailand and will be going to the US embassy in Bangkok for a K1 visa interview? I have emailed the Singapore police force and got an answer saying that they no longer issure to non-Singapore citizens. Has anyone had to deal with this when they went in for the interview in Bangkok and what were the results? Thanks....

you got a buddy back in SG? If so, they can simply drop off the request form with payment - there's a drop box at the main office, it'll get mailed back to yer buddy.

then yer buddy can send it on to you.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Ok thanks. Would it be easier if I just had her go back to Singapore to get the COC?

There's a person that just went through this a few months ago from Thailand, and it turned into a pain. Let me see if I can find the thread.
