We didn't get ours notarized either, but one of our fellow Sept sisters got a ridiculous laundry list of an RFE and the family/friend statements have to be notarized.

Thank you so much! We all do great keeping each other well informed and in good spirits!! :-)

If you're on facebook, feel free to join the Sept I-130 group (it's in my signature)!

My face is as red as my Arsenal shirt now! LOL Thank you so much!

You are awesome and keep us so well informed. I couldn't agree more. Blueberry is also awesome and both of you are so knowledgeable.

I saw your name on the notification and I thought "yay! she's approved!" I can't wait to see that notification from everyone on the sheet!

And thank you so much :)

I still think it's a good idea to start calling NVC in about a week or so to verify they have it. It's taking them roughly 25 business days (according to VJ members' self-reporting) to issue a case #.

Congrats, you're done with USCIS for now!

You are so right, it takes a special kind of strength and love to endure this process. I have no words about your husband missing the birth of his child, it makes me want to cry, honestly. No man should miss that special moment! We're all going to reach the finish line and we're all going to celebrate and enjoy our families for the rest of our lives!

Who would have imagined a support group would be needed for one to get through this process;. I am so thankful to VisaJourney for allowing me to meet wonderful people like you who are honestly helping me keep it together. I pray this process speeds up.

I know exactly how you feel.. I am in the same situation as you...It's so frustrating especially I've seen October filers getting approved from CSC recently.

I really think USCIS should work on files according to their priority dates...

My husband used to try to calm me down about this whole long wait, but now he is even so stressed out and frustrated...

I hope we both will get approved soon... Let's cross our fingers and pray for a miracle to happen to us next week...

We are the lone rangers, the last of the Mohicans, Los tres amigos! :( I did get a notice on the 7th my ARN # changed, but since then nothing...

Timeline

:D

Alrighty people, I've updated the spreadsheet AND I updated the handy dandy form that hardly anyone uses lol

Going forward, if you're not on the spreadsheet and you want to be added to the spreadsheet, use the form on the sheet. The sheet can be found in my signature :-)

Second, if your VJ timeline is not updated or created, I will not add you to the spreadsheet until that is complete. This September spreadsheet does not substitute the VJ one (also, it's very helpful to other members if they can see what process you're going through). Also, if you plan to continue your progress on this site, if your timeline is not updated, Saylin will not add you to the NVC spreadsheet, either.

My reasons for this are because you aren't all coming back to share your news of RFE or approval, so I'm combing through everyone's profile to get the updates (many of you on the sheet don't have timelines updated/created, so I can't do anything). Thank you!

Hi all,

Quick update on our RFE. My wife needs to submit an official stamped copy of her divorce decree. She applied to the court house in Salem, Oregon where the decree was issued and was told that because it was so long ago the record is in the archives. She paid $87 and was then told it would take 37 days to be delivered. She's now employed an attorney to collect the decree in person from the court house when it's ready and overnight it to her so she can send it on to USCIS. Nothing's ever simple with this process :clock:

It doesn't help that I'm a fellow gooner as well so there's not a lot to cheer me up there. Never mind - there's still the FA Cup! :dancing: I was hoping I'd be cheering for England in the World Cup in the US wearing my finest Jack Wilshire shirt and totally confusing the locals...maybe next time :D
