Hi there

I'm french with usc living all my life in France, so how to start, do i have to go to the US embassy in Paris first or can i just dowload and fill the I-130 without registration ?

I wish to move to the US with my parent and sister i know it takes a long time 12 years or even more for her.

Any info will be great because its confusing to me, thanks.

No need to register- you need to file via the USA, so you fill in the forms, then send them off to the USA. You will need to move to the USA at the same time as your parents, it will take about a year for them to get their visa: http://www.visajourney.com/content/immigration-parents-overview As you mentioned, for your sister it will take 12+ years. File soon for her, as that category may go away: http://www.visajourney.com/content/ussib It would likely be faster for your parents to file for her once they are greencard holders- she can have two petitions pending at the same time, one from you and one from the parents.

You have to send the fee with the I-130 (and more later- this is NOT a chap process). You cannot use euro.

The fees must be paid by check or money order. The funds must be in USD and drawn from a US bank account. Thanks to USCIS for centralizing IR/CR-1 filing! It's so convenient for those of us living abroad who want to finally return home in a timely manner with family in tow! Sorry for venting some frustration there...

You may be able to get a US dollar money order from a major local bank? That is what we did, but that was 5 years ago, so before you go ahead check they still accept that.
