I would say that depends on how long it's been since you were together. idea9dv.gif

If it's been 6 months, and she's 3 months pregnant, then all paperwork stops. The VJ process becomes much easier, eh?

Do you have to fill out more paperworks?

If she is still pregnant when she enters the US, then there is no other paperwork to fill out.

If she gives birth in her country, then you will need to file a CRBA at the local US Embassy and get a US passport for your child. Your child would need a US passport to enter the US.

Why would all paperwork stop? Don't be ridiculous. There is no reason to stop the case. How the hell would USCIS, the NVC, and the US Embassy knows that she is pregnant and stop the case?

Pregnancy will not stop the case. The case will be continued to be processed. She will either enter the US pregnant or with a baby with a US passport. Her case has nothing to do with the baby.

If my fiance was 3 months pregnant, and I had not been with her for 6 months, the paperwork WOULD stop, because I wouldn't continue the process. Pretty simple.

As to "how the hell they would know"... that sort of thing is kind of clear during a medical exam.

You don't think people applying for visas cheat? All I said was it depends on the timing. We don't know, only Niblet or his GF know. Sorry if that offends you. Not everyone is perfect, mistakes are made sometimes.

as far as just curios, I think the Embassy would require evidence that the petitioner is aware of the pregnancy.

as for this thread, brilliant strategy, set the bait and sit back to watch the feeding frenzy.

as far as paperwork...
