Hello,

We have just submitted our first documents for K-1 Visa to USCIS last Tuesday. And as I was checking the form again ow, I noticed that there has been a typing error i my fiancee's date of birth. Instead of 03/01/1981 he put 03/01/2981. Should they still accept our petition and just refer to the supporting documents which is his Birth Certificate or they will return or not accept our petition? Help us please...

If they notice it, you will get an RFE. Very unlikely they will deny, especially as it is clearly a typo.

Like said more than likely, IF they even catch the oops, you will get an RFE to complete a new form correctly. Not a big deal

Pop down to the Philippines forum and say "Hi"

Hello guys,

My fiancee accidentally made a mistake in his birthdate in I-129F. He felt bad about it and said he ###### up. Told him not to worry and we'll just wait for the feedback from the USCIS.

Does anyone here experience the same?

What are the things to do to correct the error?

Should we pay again if they will request for a new I-129F with correct information?

Please help us. We just sent our application last Tuesday and probably haven't been receive yet by the USCIS.

Wait for a possible RFE, or wait to get it corrected at the interview. It isn't the first time it has happened, and likely not the last.
