Remember when some old lady wearing too much make up, smelling of talc, lilac, (and something else you couldn't quite figure out, but as unpleasant as any odor you have experienced in your young life) bent down, said how cute you were, and kissed you on the forehead? It is very hard to appear manly after something like that scars you for life.
