Past use of weed medical exam

Hello everyone,

I went to my medical exam and it didnt come out as expect. About the question of drug abuse, i admited that i used weed in the past but im dont make use anymore. The doctor asked for a hair exam that should cover a period of time of one year. The test will probably show negative.

The problem is that for what i have been reading, only admiting the use already creates a huge problem. My interview is the end of september and the exam will be ready just some days before. My marriage is already scheduled for the end of december (K1 process).

Im quite desperated. I wonder if it would be better if i had not admite any use. What can i do now? The test going negative means that i dont have to worry? Should i try i different medical exam in other city?

Its always the best to be honest in every situation, so i think is perfect you told the truth... now... if you dont use drugs anymore the test will show it... so i wouldnt be worry...

We were advised not to make plans for the wedding because the timelines or anyhing could change, i guess that is the main reason why a lot of k1 visas fullfit the marriage with a civil ceremony and after that when they are already together plan the big church, family wedding... is what we did... :)

I love you Charles forever!!

I feel so awful. Everybody a told say that i was stupid because i told the truth. Now i fell like i screwed everything because of my stupideness. I read in others posts about people who had used 8 years before and even so, they got denied. I just didnt know how severe this was. I thought that drug abuse was much more, I never worried about.

Now just fells like my world is ruining. And fell so ashmed to put my fieancee in such stress. She really dont deserves it.

Whats done is done, however some ppl have been denied for a yr after admitting to

smoking even when the test shows them negative, just hope the Dr will just put

negative in your report and leave it alone if you are clean ...best of luck, never

beat up yourself for being honest, remember that, one day you'll find your fiancé

respecting your honesty....no ceremony should be taking place before the K1 uscis

will see it as marriage
