You know introducing your own gun to the situation during a home invasion really increases the chances of a gunshot happening. And if you think you're more capable with your gun after being woken up in the middle of the night than a guy that's been up and about, you're wrong. Eyes have to adjust to dark, brain needs time to comprehend, etc. You could be outnumber....... Now instead of robbed, you're shot.

We're talking about in the home. Nobody can throw a fire extinguisher five stories down in my home.

I also don't think anybody's going to accidentally hit the fire extinguisher with a hammer, like the second person did.

Where do you keep your gun that will help you access it super quickly in case of a break in? Most robbers won't spend more than a minute trying to get into your house. Is it kept under the pillow for quick grabbing?

Clingfilm and plastic bags can be used to kill people if you want to go through the list of household objects that can be used for other purposes than those they were intended for. They even provide handy little warnings on plastic bags to warn you of the dangers. Imagine that?

The proof is there that people who do not have guns in the home are in fact protecting their family from the greater risk. You do not have to believe that, but it is a fact.

Some people do not think property is worth protecting if to do so you have to put personal safety at risk AND hurt people in the process, ,that's why we have home contents insurance. I know, a terrible idea to not want to hurt someone else even if they are stealing from you but there it is, some of us feel like that.

and some of us do not feel like that...I don't want to force you to be armed, why do you wish to disarm me.

If someone comes in my home on a nice Sunday morning like they did my neighbor, I can't wait on 911.Being armed is not about protecting property cause if I am not home it does not help. it is about protecting my loved ones.

I asked a question about where the guns are kept. Hardly claiming to be an expert. But again, your brain works in mysterious ways and comes up with its own stories.

Burglars prefer not to spend more than 60 seconds trying to gain entry. You can look it up. I'm no expert, so that's what I did.
