as of today we just move from RFE review to Testing and Interview, usually how long would they take to give us an appointment?

Our Journey...
6/28/2013 Sent i485, i131, i765 and i130 package express
7/1/2013 USCIS receive package
7/11/2013 Receive NOAS
7/15/2013 Receive Bio-metrics Appointment for (7/26/13)
7/26/2013 Bio-metrics completed
7/30/2013 Got email RFE
08/3/2013 Received RFE (Wife Birth Certificate)
08/5/2013 Sent RFE by express email
08/6/2013 The RFE was package was sign and receive
08/8/2013 RFE receive by USCIS
08/20/013 Testing and Interview text notification
09/4/2013 EAD going to production email
09/9/2013 EAD ready for shipping email
9/10/2013 EAD USPS tracking number
9/12/2013 EAD received
9/26/2013 Interview - Approve _
9/26/2013 Notification about changing name
9/27/2013 Notification about mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT
9/30/2013 Email about card going in to production

Ours took over a month to get scheduled, and it was scheduled two months out, It depends what country you are coming from Ethiopia is not one of the faster countries. Good news is Our interview was today, and we were approved!!!! good luck I hope yours comes much quicker than ours did.

It took me 4 days to get an email with an interview day after testing and interview Emails.

Good luck

My time line

Day (1) July 12 package received at USCIS

Day (5) July 16: 11.53 pm Email and text received

Day (9) July 20: NOA by mail

Day (15) July 26: Biometrics letter for 08/13/2013

Day (19) July 30: biometrics walk in

Day (32) Aug 12: Received text and email alerts I-485 changed to testing and interview. @ 6.50 PM

Day (36) Aug 16: Received text and email alerts interview date Sep 17. @ 6.50 am

Day (39) Aug 19: Hard copy interview in mail @ 11 am. Interview day Sep 17 @ 9 am.

Mine took almost 2 months. It depends on your local office workload and on how many people filed in the months before you.

4/12/13 - sent I-485 package

4/15/13 - USCIS Chicago Lockbox received package

4/22/13 - got email and txt

4/29/13 - received NOA in mail

5/08/13 - received biometrics appointment for 5/22

5/09/13 - successful early walk in at Port Chester, NY office

5/22/13 - I-485 updated to Testing & Interview

6/18/13 - EAD went to production

6/21/13 - Card/Document Production for EAD - second email

6/24/13 - EAD mailed

6/26/13 - EAD arrived

7/18/13 - got email about interview

7/20/13 - got hard copy interview letter

08/23/13 - interview - Approved dancin5hr.gif(card production & decision email)

08/28/13 - card production - second email

08/29/13 - card mailed

09/03/13 - card arrived

05/27/2016 - N-400 mailed

06/02/2016 - NOA date

06/24/2016 - biometrics appointment

11/28/2016 - interview scheduled for January 9th, 2017

01/09/2017 - interview passed

01/20/2017 - Oath Ceremony
