Hi all

I just got my letter for the biometrics for the N400 application. I unfortunately booked a trip and will get back 2 days after my biometrics appointment. My trip unfortunately cannot be changed. I took a look on the web and see that some people have just gone in and walked in early. My appointment is the beginning of the 2nd week of Sept. at the 60th street Brooklyn office. has Anyone had Ny luck doing walk ins at the Brooklyn 60th street location? If so, did they give you a hard time? Better to go first thing or later? Or should I just return the letter for request for change of date? I am hoping to get this process done as quickly as possible. Is 17 days early too early? Are they open on Saturdays? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

I don't have any experience with the Brooklyn office but I did walk in befor my Biometrics date in Atlanta and they had no problem.

Why don't you try to do a walk in? If they ask why you came early, just show them your trip reservation or airline ticket and tell them you will not be there for your appt.

It doesn't hurt to try...

+1

Bring your evidence and try a walk-in. It's easier to do that than reschedule.

FYI - if anyone is looking for this same info, I just got back from the Brooklyn office. I managed to be able to do a walk in. I got there at 7:30 and was 2nd in line. At 8am when they opened the doors, they had to let the 10 or so people in front of me, and then I went in. I filled out a form and was seen right away. I was out of there by 8:11am :)
