Where are you? Kindly updates us about where you are and what is the situtation.

For those who will be going to Manila, I think the offices still CLOSED.... let us know any news.

I'm in Angeles City Pampanga, a couple of minutes away from downtown. Rain doesn't stop. No flood where I am but not sure where the lower areas are. Never dare to drive around, don't want to be stuck in flooded areas.

US Embassy should have just decided yesterday to close again August 20 so that people who have an interview for August 20 are not left wondering if they are open or not. If you know there is a typhoon why not just close it for a couple of days rather than having people wonder and have to go through all the trouble to go to Manila only to find out it is closed. cray5ol.gifmellow.png

Genesis 2:22-24
Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman, ' for she was taken out of man." For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Here is the latest:

http://www.chron.com/news/world/article/Floods-paralyze-Philippine-capital-for-2nd-day-4742588.php

"The flooding followed two nights of heavy monsoon rains, enhanced by Tropical Storm Trami. The storm hovered over the North Philippine Sea and drenched the main northern island of Luzon with up to 30 millimeters (just over an inch) of rain per hour. It was forecast to move away from the Philippines toward Taiwan on Wednesday.

"In many coastal towns along swollen Lake Laguna, near Manila, and in food-growing riverside provinces, residents were trapped on rooftops, waded through the streets or drifted on makeshift rafts. Many chose to stay close to their homes for fear they would be looted if they leave. Floodwaters had subsided late Monday but the night of pounding rains Tuesday repeated the deluge.

"Flooding has become more frequent in Manila because of deforestation of mountains, clogged waterways and canals where large squatter communities live, and poor urban planning.

"According to an assessment from the Department of Science and Technology, rainfall reached 600 mm (23.62 inches) in and around Manila Bay on Sunday alone. That's compared to the disastrous 2009 Typhoon Ketsana, the strongest cyclone to hit Manila in modern history with 455 mm of rain in 24 hours.

"Several dams in Luzon were forced to open their flood gates because of rising waters and thousands of residents downstream were told to move.

"The Philippine archipelago is among the most battered by storms in the world. About 20 tropical cyclones hit the country every year."

I'm super worried now, as my fiance suddenly went offline....last thing she told me was that she and her family was scrambling to keep things safe. :(

So I'm just sitting here, trying to catch what is happening....on the news...

My fiance went to St Luke's today from Batasan Hills to do her second sputum test. Said it took her 4 taxis because nobody wanted to drive her there. When she arrived she was told no tests today and they will finish them Thur and Fri. Just before getting disconnected she said she was stranded at St Luke's because no taxi would drive her nor can she get a bus or Jeepney.

I'm sure she fine as I got an email askng to borrow my scuba gear.

I totally forgot to ask him. All I cared about when we were talking was that he was ok and that I was making him go home already so he does not get stranded. haha.Forgot to ask him. What is the white paper for?
