Administrative Processing

When in administrative processing, do you count weekends when calculating the days you are in AP? Do you only calculate five out of the seven days? Or do you calculate your time on a month to month basis such as the the 15th of July to the 15th of August being considered one month? I'm just trying to figure out how to calculate my time...

You would count business days because weekend they are close. There is no way to determine how long you will be in AP.

I don't believe that when people are posting on here that they're about their stint AP, they're counting only business days.

What I have been noticing more though is that people are stating how many WEEKS they're in AP. I've been going through timelines and recently there have been a couple of people who have been horribly subjected to 8 & 10 weeks of AP but I'm seeing others who are in AP for 3-5 weeks.

I'm sure this may not matter but we've placed the date in where they asked us the intended date of travel on the DS156 or DS230 (I forget which one). Possibly this means something but probably not, LOL!
