It might be, at least our case is very simple as you said no previous marriage, no kids, been together for 4 and 1/2 years and lived together 3, no high risk country, no overstay nor previous visa issues..

Nope.

Divorced and remarried the same petitioner and approved in 1 month and 1 week.

India is high risk

Aditya - sorry don't mean to be personal but are you saying you got divorced and remarried to the same person or are you referring to someone else? Also - I thought you got approved as soon as your petition was transferred.

Congratulations on all transfers and approvals! This is awesome news and we all want this news for us asap! smile.png

I start worrying that it has been 18 days since my transfer and there is nothing new... People get approved who have been transferred later than I was (2/3) and whose PD is later than mine (8/12)... Why is that?

Is it possible that these early bird cases are very straightforward? No prior marriages and no kids? Can some approved folks voice their opinion please?

my case was not simple/straightforward......been divorced, 2 kids, i am 7 years older than hubby but we were transferred and approved quickly! I seriously think that USCIS has absolutely no ryme or reason to their methods of madness!

Just cause that is how the USCIS rolls........don't let it bother you. It happened to all of us. I got 5 text and 3 emails when I got my transfer. The transfer date changed from 3rd the 5th on one of the emails and then got the "your petition has been transferred to your local office". I means nothing.

Just wait for the hard copy in the mail. It will tell you the Service Center it was transferred to. I got my approval a week after my transfer. So no worries, be happy. The ball is rolling now!
