Should I be worried?

Hello, everyone!

I submitted I have submitted I751 with evidence documents back in May 2012.

I was requested to re-submit more evidence back in January 2013 and I responded by March 2013.

I did not hear from USCIS till May 2013, so I contacted them over the phone. A week later, I received a letter showing my case is currently suspended and I will be informed for an interview.

My extension letter was expired on July 29, 2013 and I have I551 stamp on my passport.

How long should I wait for the interview notice?

still married? what you can do is apply for citizenship

if you apply for citizenship that it strives to make a decision on your case and will have to approve your case

Yes, I am still married. But applying for citizenship never crossed my mind....

I am just worried that my case is so behind

your you should apply or take it as an option, since your case is outside normal

Normally it does not take this long??

I called the service center few times and requested my case to processs argent. All I got is the same letters saying I will be informed with the details of interview!

Is the I551 stamp valid for 6 months or 1 year! You may need to go in for another info-pass to get another I551 before this one expires or if you are alright with apply for citizenship, then it is different, as others already mentioned. Any which way, remember to keep your status active and interview is not a big deal, as long as your marriage is genuine.

How about filing for USC, I sent an email and contact request to USCIS for our ROC and received an approval in 2/3 weeks. Maybe it was a coincidence don't know, also the Ombudsman Office is a good follow-up..

My I551 is good for a year but I want this situation to be over….

How did you contact USCIS? I have made few calls to USCIS but all they can do was to send urgent request to the local office.

So I have received same letters over and over, which state that I will be informed with interview notice.

I will send an email to the headquarter so hopefully they can do something to help my case process quickly.

It seems like my case was passed on to ATL office from Vermont……
