Anyone ever have any of the emails from the USCIS go to their spam box?

Pretty much as the title says.. I was thinking of that today, the email I used with uscis site is my yahoo email I have had the same email for about 7 years now and get alot of stuff sent to my spam folder (usually always spam) but Im in habit of just clicking empty on it and never really checking whats inside.. Im pretty sure I havent received any emails from uscis, but now just curious if i should be paying closer attention to my spam box or if anyone ever did have any of the emails sent there. Would suck to miss an email from them for that reason lol.

Maybe you need to add the USCIS address to your address list.

yes - until i added USCIS to my list of ok's, they went in my spam file. i also use yahoo.

Don't worry too much, you would only get an e-mail sent from them if it was an approval or an RFE. Either way, if you're signed on with the uscis.gov webpage, you can always log in to that account and receive updates through that site.

Remember, the email is from CRIS.

Maybe changing your password will help. When I signed onto my account on the USCIS website - a few days before I was approved - I was prompted to change my password. I did so and an email was sent to my account (gmail) as a reminder.

This was nice to get - an unexpected - but it made me sure that any email from them would be sent to my inbox and not spam.

I use hotmail, and e-mails from USCIS were being sent to my junk mail folder. The e-mails come from either USCIS-SRMT@dhs.gov or USCIS-CSSO@dhs.gov Add both to your approved list and you should be all set.

Mine got sent to junk mail in hotmail--which is ok because I can still find them in there.

I never got any, haha. USCIS still says my case is pending.

But when I changed my password, a confirmation email went to my gmail, so I know it works. I suppose someday in a few years I'll get my approval email.

I just added both to my hotmail safe list, thanks! It says a domain can be added, too, so just for good measure I added @dhs.gov, that should take care of it.
