Hi VJ Friends!

I have a quick question Re: Apartment lease.

My wife is a USC and I am CPR and my my question is that my wife is signing a lease papers for an apartment for her sister because of her sister has a very bad credit history. so basically she is signing a lease for her sister and a lease papers for both of us at our address.

Is it going to give us a hard time in future?

Thanks

Thank You my friend!

But my question is that if immigration check in any system and it shows two address on one name (becuase she is signing lease on her name) is it going to give us hard time ?

Only if she messes up your credit also. USCIS only wants your address.

Thank You Navyk!

But as i asked earlier that is it not going to affect that her name appears on two different addresses?

Thanks Again.

I don't think it will raise any red flags, as they are more concerned about a joint lease.

Is she being a co-signer or is she pretending she is living at that address when it's really the sister?

No, the lease is on her name but the owner knows that her sister is living there n he said that he is fine untill her sister didn't create any problem there.

So is it going to raise a red flag?

Is she being a co-signer or is she pretending she is living at that address when it's really the sister?
