DS-157 Question about #10 (K1-Visa)

Hey guys! First of all, i would like thank visajourney for their tremendous help on our K1 Visa Application.

I have a question about the DS-157 question 10... You see, i was born in Libya and i was issued a Libyan visa as a child. My dad was a Libyan and my moom is a Filipina. They used my Libyan passport at first, then decided to register me as a Filipino born abroad (late registration at the Philippine Embassy) and therefore,made me a Filipino passport. I have been using my Philippine passport since age 5.

My question is, if I put Philippines and Libya on question 10, do I need to have supporting documents that i had a Libyan passport when i was kid? Will they question it in the future? Thanks in advance!

To offer you a very simple answer, YES! At some point during your visa journey you will be "required" to provide all information. This will include your passport [copy of] and all of its pages. Best of luck!

It says to list all countries that have issued you a passport, so the answer is yes, you list them both as it asks. I do not see any reason that you will need the old passport from when you were a small child. They will have all your information about where you were born and registering your birth abroad in the Philippines from you filling out the info in the forms and providing your required documentation.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. I was just worried that maybe sometime in the future they would require me to submit that old passport, which i dont have anymore by the way
