...to my fellow Filipinos here who already had their interview at the US Embassy in Manila or who already had their medical exam at St. Luke's; I just want to ask if we need to leave our passport in St. Luke's after the medical examination? or do they take it after the medical exam and they will be the one to forward it to US Embassy in Manila?

my interview is on March 20 but I need to attend a conference in Singapore and Australia from March 3-18 and I'm planning to have my medical examination on the third week of February... I'm really worried that they might take my passport as I would need it from the said dates....

i got this from the website of US Embassy in Manila:

"What happens after I have my medical examination?"
The medical report, passport and visa pictures are submitted by SLMCEC to the U.S. Embassy in Manila. Only the chest x-ray film and immunization form are given to the applicants in the SLMCEC releasing section.

Iloveme:

St luke's will give you your passport after the medical exams. They will also give you a disc (of your xray); and a record of immunizations that you will be bringing to the US (I think you will give it to immigration officers at your POE).

I've known these facts during my kids journey.
