Any advice before the interview? Getting some anxious.

08/01/2013 (1 day) - USCIS received my application

08/12/2013 (12 days)- I received Biometrics appointment notice via mail

08/29/2013 (29 days)- Biometrics Walk-in

09/05/2013 (37 days)- Received online notifications of I-485 application changed to Testing & Interview

09/25/2013 (57 days)- AED in production

10/07/2013 (68 days)- AED in my hands

10/11/2013 (72 days) received Interview date on Nov 18 2013.

2013-08-20 (DAY 8) Noa1 received via Text around 11pm, next day was email. Received my case numbers

2013-08-23 (Day 11)- received hard copy in mail for Noa1 gc , Work permit

2013-08-30 (Day 18) Received Biometrics appointment letter in the mail.

2013-09-17 (Day 25) biometrics appointment day @2pm Detriot

2013-09-25 (Day 33) received text and email , I485 changed to testing and interview

2013-10-02 (Day 40) received text message and email @7am about my interview date

2013-10-04 (Day 42) Received hard copy interview letter in the mail

2013-10-10 (Day 48) Work permit Card in production

Hey Everyone,

I picked up the letter from the post office today. USCIS rescheduled my interview for December 4. There was no explanation, just 4 sentences telling me the date and time and a reminder that if I missed the appointment it will be considered an abandonment.

ashok_ajsj did your card go into production yet?

Not yet Yaadie, checking the status online everyday. I 130 was approved on Aug 15th just a week after I filed the I 485, I showed them the original I 797 approval notice and also gave them a copy. The IO said, the National visa center didn't receive the receipt yet..don't understand why? and don't know when I can see the AOS approval.

I am sorry to hear that your interview date has been postponed, No worries, just be on time (don't go too early) and good luck.

I will keep you posted on the status,

Miami is slow too. 5 weeks since "Testing and Interview" for us.

Salt Lake is slow too, went to "Testing and Interview" on Sept 25th ...

I wish my wait were only 5 weeks. I am on month 2 now of waiting. I went to testing and interview Sep 11. Still waiting. sad.png Salt Lake is dragging its feet as well. C'est la vie! Hang in there my friends. Our turn will come soon.

Thanks. If things don't move soon, I'll get my congressman involved. I doubt there are so many cases going through SLC that it is overloaded. Then again, they may not usually have many cases and therefore only have a few officers. Either way, I have some ideas to help them with their efficiencies. ClockWatch2.gifrofl.gif

I have been thinking about going to the congressman's office as well... I mean when I was getting my biometrics done there was literally no one there ...

Hope you remember me. Mine is still on the same status "Testing & Interview" as the I 130 receipt is pending. I even called USCIS and heard that it is purely the IO decision at the interview or the IO should request for the receipt. Nothing very useful on my call. I am still hoping to hear the CPO sooner.
