Finally got my Biometric Appointment today and it is scheduled on 09/17. Looking ibto maybe I can do walk-in by tuesday, 09/03. Anyone here located within Raleigh area? Is it Ok to do walk-in at Raleigh office?

2013-08-30 (Day 18) Received Biometrics appointment letter in the mail.

2013-09-17 (Day 25) biometrics appointment day @2pm Detriot

2013-09-25 (Day 33) received text and email , I485 changed to testing and interview

I received my biometric appointment letter to 09/10. I will try to do 09/09. As is just one day before the appointment date, I think I wouldn't have a problem. FYI my office is Oakland, Ca.

Ok, I know that a walkin doesn't speed up the green card process but can it speed up the EAD and/or AP?

We are doing our fingerprints in Fargo, we have to go there on Tuesday anyways(and it's a 3 hour drive) so hopefully they will let us do the walk-in. Either way I will report back. My wife wants here EAD asap because there is a teaching job available for her.

Yes you can get your EAD expedited.

I believe you have to do an infopass and bring your proof.

Someone else can chime in about that.

I just told them I am not available by the 17th and someone in the cust service hotline told me I can do walk-in. Just make sure that you tell the person in charge that or else you will be waiting for the whole day. And don't bring coins inside your pockets coz they really check on everything hehehe.
