I'm from Colombia and my fiancee from Los Angeles California

I apply for a tourist visa to the U.S. Which was denied me, I said I was going to a church in Texas to preach in it but my intention was to go to Texas to preach in the church because I had an invitation to go and then go to LA to be with my fiancee.

In the interview I did't mention anything about girlfriend in LA, they denied me the visa on the basis that I did not have family relationships that would make me go back to Colombia.

A few months ago my Promised exactly she made the request in a K1 Fiancee visa for me, then I want to know if I would have some kind of problem according to my previous request (was in March this year and my fiance sent the request in April )

Also I would like to know if any problem because my girlfriend is 30 years old and I have 19 years

I would appreciate help me with these doubts God bless

I don't think a previous tourist visa denial will be a deal-breaker in applying for the fiance visa, but I'm sure someone more familiar can confirm/refute this. :)

For future visits, I think if the basis of the denial in March was that you didn't have strong enough ties to ensure your return to Colombia then you need to bring better proof of that - e.g. financial ties (ownership of property/investment, bank statements from your account in colombia), employment ties (letter from your employer that you have agreed to return on x date or family ties (copies of offical documents proving family relationships and their residence in Colombia). Good luck!

Did they ask you if you had a girlfriend in the USA? If not, you comitted no miss-representation in not mentioning her.

The age could be an issue, but it can be overcome with solid bonafide evidence such as lots of "face time" (ie visits) and family support.

misrepresentation of the truth is a very dangerous scenario

I hope it does not bite you back

always tell the truth, even if it hurts

if it is discovered that you lied to an officer, it can result in a ban, as in lifetime
