Hi our I-129f for transferred to Texas 21 June 2013. Our NOA1 date was 19 February and we still have not recieved our NoA 2, our 5 months are up today , I know they are getting through the applications but sadly not ours yet, anyone any advise what we can do?

Wait is the only thing, ours was moved from VSC to TSC in april or may, (we filed in Dec '12 and got NOA1 in jan) we got NOA2 on 24 June. Your NOA2 should therefore be along sometime soon if our timeline is anything to go by.

Our file in en route to London now so it does shift along a bit once you get NOA2.

I typically suggest giving 2-3 weeks after your 5 months is up before stalking contacting the USCIS offices. You can also check the status of the case numbers before and after yours. This will give you an idea if they're working on cases around you and if they are, they MAY be adjudicating yours soon! Keep in mind though, every case is unique, and nothing is guaranteed. smile.png

here's how:

It's pretty easy you go here, which you can get to by visiting the USCIS website and entering in your receipt number in the "case status" box on the left navigation.

It looks like this:

Then you'll be on this page:

From there you change the last 2 digits in your case number down or up.

So 411, 412, 465, 466, 489, 490, etc

Hi, my case was transfered on June 15 th, 2013 from VSC to TSC. On July15, 2013 i received NOA2 regarding RFE. I have not received a hard copy of the RFE as of today. I called them 2 days ago and one of the USCIS Rep told me to wait until the end of the month then call back.. They will not take any action until the end of this month. I suppose I just wait for RFE to arrive in mail. Seems like TSC is very well organized, they have approved March and April filers but theydelayd the early filers, I failed to understand their way of working or organizing or how do they priortize or distinguish the cases? I hope someone can shed the light on the issue's.

Cases are picked up in batches. If cases around yours have been approved but yours has not, there's a chance that they're waiting for something, a background check, a police record, etc.

From what I've noticed, an Adjudicator picks up a box of petitions and orders a BG check for each petition, some take longer than others to come back, other times a case has a flag that needs more looking into, or there's an RFE, and those are usually the stragglers.

It takes 1-2 weeks for you to receive any papers from TSC, keep in mind they don't overnight you anything, so while they may have sent you an electronic notice, chances are it will still take at least a week for the snail mail to get you to.

Have a little patience and respond to the RFE as promptly and completely as possible.

Thank you all for your comments, they are really helpful, we are still waiting and waiting, I am presuming if there was an issue with an RFE they would have notified us by now??? we called a week ago and after a 3 hour hold we got through to a Teir 2 rep, who told us just to keep waiting!! My son is also on our application so I am wondering if this may be a reason why it is all taking so long
