Hello,

My wife arrived in the USA on a IR1 visa on July 15, 2013. How long will it take before she receives her green card and ss card? Thanks.

Did you already pay the $165 fee on ELIS? It is taking from 3 to 8 weeks for most.

Hello,

My wife arrived in the USA on a IR1 visa on July 15, 2013. How long will it take before she receives her green card and ss card? Thanks.

We entered the US June 13, 3013 and paid the immigrant fee on June 5, 2013. Til now no ssn and greencards arrived to us. :-(

N-400 Timeline:

Applied online - 07/24/19 

Receipt notice - 07/24/19

Biometrics notice online - 07/26/19

Biometrics - 08/12/19

Interview notice - 11/22/19

Interview - 01/02/20

Oath Notice - 01/07/20

Oathtaking - 01/22/20 

Estimated Completion Time: May 2020 (10 months from date applied :clock:)

Hello,

My wife arrived in the USA on a IR1 visa on July 15, 2013. How long will it take before she receives her green card and ss card? Thanks.

My wife arrived here in the U.S. on June 16, 2013 on an IR-1 visa also, paid the $165 immigrant fee on ELIS on June 06, 2013. She received her Social Security Card about 2 weeks ago. This morning we received an Email from USCIS that I have pasted below.

On July 19, 2013, the production of your new card began. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move while this card is being created, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Green card could take 4 weeks or a month or even more....SS card, you need to go to the nearest SSA office...my wife got her gc almost a month after arrival in US and didn't wait for SS card to arrived lI just applied and got my Ss card after 4-5days..
