If you want to. Did I say I judge all blacks by the actions of the Black Panthers? I don't believe so.

The point of my statement is that these groups of people like the Black Panthers do more to hurt their people and their cause, then they do to help it. They alienate a lot of people, like myself.

Or not. Advancing through the officer ranks is 90% political, less at the bottom, almost certainly once you hit field grade, and completely for General officers. The opportunities for advancement diminish severely once you are looking for an O-4 slot.
