Greeting:

I just received an email from the consular section at the Vientiane embassy in the Lao PDR.

They said:

We are aware of the Supreme Court ruling and are working closely with other agencies to determine next steps. As of yet, we have not received any guidance so we are currently not accepting applications for same-sex couples. We understand how important this decision is for many LGBT families and will post updated guidance soon.

So, it appears to not be happening yet but I assuem one can still file an I-129F.

Anyone else hear anything?

.I'd go ahead and file. It will take a while to get to Laos and by that time, they will have "guidance"

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
