So I jumped the gun when filling out the DS-156 form (I was way too excited) and filled it out, totally forgetting to look at the example forms on VJ.

I messed up on question 37 and did not list my fiancé is a US citizen, I didn't thoroughly read the question.

Since this form has a bar code will it mess up my papers if I fill out the form again and print it?

I appreciate any advice and help, thank you!

It doesn't matter you can have it reprint all the times you need to! Thank God you realized about your mistake!! Don't worry bar code its for other's purposes. In my case my now hubby and I reprint everything like 10 times cause we always found a new mistake :( but it's ok, we rather that than getting a rejection. my thoughts for you is read your forms thousand times and put other people to read it.

By the way! Good luck with your upcoming interview!!! The best of luck
