hello...i first would like to thank all the people who take the time to help others at this site.I am currently assembling our petition,everything finished EXCEPT question 11.in 2003 i filed a succesful I-129

f but subsequently we were divorced.She is now an american citizen residing in the

U.S.I have no clue what the A# was or place and date of filing.Can i put "unknown" and explain that the divorce decree is part of the evidence for this petition? U.S.C.I.S. was not very helpful,she mentioned a "professonal form preparer" and then speed read to me some long drawn out method,(included a G-639) that would involve needing to contact my ex,not sure if i can do this.thank you in advance for any help you can provide me.....steve

You should contact your ex-wife. You'll need to know when you filed and her A# (even though she's naturalized now). I think they want to know the service center it went to? If not I'm unsure of the "place of filing." Do you still have the NOA1 or NOA2 with the case number on it?

You can put Unknown for the information you do not know. You do know a partial date though, so at least you can put the year, 2003. If you can recall the month, then put that too. Place of filing would be whichever service center your case went through back then.

thank you Nikir and Jay-Kay for your responses...i know petition filed nov. 2003,nebraska..i have tried to contact ex but no response yet...as i said in OP i of course have certified divorce documents
