Are gas bills, hotel receipts, and date receipts of my fiance enough to prove he visited me in America from Canada? We got an RFE asking for proof we met, but we don't have pictures together prior to filing the petition. This is getting hard. Do people get rejected for this reason? We gave lots of secondary proof too. cray5ol.gif I'm afraid I'm gonna have to start all over!!! gahhhhhh!

Send everything you have that shows you two have met within the last two years. Receipts, pictures, boarding passes, hotel receipts etc... anything you can think of and yes people do get denied their petition for not being able to provide proof they have met within the last 2 years.

Primary proof are things such as passport stamps, boarding passes, hotel receipts, ATM receipts/credit card & bank statements showing use while in the other country at time of visit. Secondary evidence would be photos taken together and with friends and family during the time of the visit.

Yes, gas bills etc. will count as evidence if they can be used to prove that he was in the same geographical location as you at the certain date. I used shop receipts etc. to prove I was in the same town as my fiancé within the date I stated on the forms of when I was last in the US.

Pictures are definitely not necessary but they sure are the nail the seals everything. But being able to prove that you were within the same address as your fiance can definitely be used as evidence. Do as the other person said, send a photo of the stamp on your passport that clearly shows the date, plane tickets, and bills etc.
