I'm joining the list! My wife found out today she has an interview date of 8 August! Luckily her country's embassy doesn't have a long line of people emigrating, which is why we have only 2 weeks to wait

I need you to complete your timeline so i can get the case complete date. Congratulations

FYI to everyone, while interviews are often scheduled on CASE COMPLETE date, they are also scheduled via PRIORITY DATE. So if someone filed Nov 2012 and you filed Jan 2013 but you have your case comp

Thanks for checking.Ok at people a PSA I need to do. I think we got a bit spoiled since January. Because honestly the 2nd week of the month was the usual interview scheduling. Like around now. But

Stevie B this is not true. You have said this before and its wrong. The embassy has no idea about us IR1/CR1 unless we are DCF or Expedite. NVC schedules for us okay not embassy. There is a calendar

Ok well I have asked a couple of people that have Gone through the same process and they tell me they return them their passport with Visa the next day after interview. But just wanted to see here what u thought

Yes its country specific. I know like Nigeria you pick up a week later. Some embassies do it on the spit. Some takes weeks.

I actually got a bit excited when I saw that you posted in the topic, but who are we kidding!

I wonder how is it possible for NVC not to schedule any appointments for the whole month of August for India.

Highly doubt that all the dates in August are filled up with the non-immigrant visa applicants!

Usually during Aug many student visa applicants are taking appointments. I am wondering if that maybe the reason for no dates for Immigrants but then not a single date is unbelievable. Some of the July interview were reschedule to Aug due to rainfall in Mumbai and Delhi.

Talked to nvc.

The two checlist I received is indeed false.

But they said there was a third one for my aos. Something wrong with my part 6 an 7.

I feel so terrible now

They said ds230 is all perfect.

01/09/05 -hubby and I were classmates in college and started dating, our first kiss

10/22/06 - Entered USA as a green card holder, petitioned by my mom (poe sfo, cali)

11/08/06 - exited USA with permit to re-enter (have to go back to Manila to study)

11/22/07 - 1 year and 14 days out of USA, re entered USA with re entry permit. No problems!

05/22/09 - Went back to manila to marry my college sweet heart.

08/30/09 - Went home to USA, pregnant

02/17/2010 - gave birth is USA, with out hubby.

02/10/2011 - brought our baby to manila to see hubby

05/09/2011 - went back to USA, with out baby. Baby left with daddy

11/01/2011 - submitted n400 (denied, 02/05/2012) im not allowed to use 90 day head start as I was out of country for more than a year, not deported because I have re entry permit.

01/23/12 - noa 1 for hubby's i130, I was green card holder

01/13/13 - re submitted n400

04/11/13 - oath taking!!!!

04/14/13 - upgraded hubby's i130

05/08/13 - noa 2 received

Nvc:

06/26/13 nvc received our aos and iv packets.

07/20/13 aos checklist

07/25/13 mailed aos checklist

08/19/13 case complete

I wonder if it's because of all these student visa appointments as well as regular b1/b2 apps is the cause of not many interviews for the CR1/IR1 apps for the month of august!! Oh well the waiting game continues.. will call the NVC next monday...

No not at all. How would that help? We just say call so you know faster than wait for emails.

Good Afternoon,

I have a quick question. all the vacation time was taken at my job so even if i get an august interview i would have to reschedule. can i ask the consulate directly for an september interview or do i have to wait and see if NVC schedules me a august interview for me and then ask for a change ?

there are not anymore dates for august for DR so u will get a sept date lol

what is really wrong with this indian embassies?

Not sure if the issue is with embassies, seems everything is going wrong at NVC. How is it possible that Delhi and Mumbai embassies have no appointment slot available in Aug. If they are so busy then why don't they cancel some non immigrant appointments and take immigrants as their priority. Almost getting to 3 months in NVC. Cant believe this is happening. Very sad and frustrated.

yes, it is very frustrating... i do not know when they even give a date..
